David
Huffman email
David Huffman is Founder, Chairman and CEO of Linkify,
a spontaneous collaboration solution for enterprises.
He has more than a dozen years of experience in information
industries, including top positions in several high tech
and web startups. Prior to Linkify, Huffman was president
of Mantra Technologies, a pioneer of unique text analysis
technology. He led the successful drive to license the
company's strategic application to global web directory
leader LookSmart. He also obtained several patents in
automated web-based text analysis. Huffman joined Mantra
after holding senior positions in business development
at Reflection Technology, and management consulting at
PA Consulting Group and Cambridge Technology Group. At
PA, Huffman headed the Business Strategy Group for North
America, where he produced record personal and group utilization
rates several years running for clients that included:
IBM; AT&T/Lucent; Bell Atlantic Mobile; AMP; Comcast;
LG Electronics; and a range of overseas concerns including
Alcatel and Belgacom. Huffman graduated from Cornell University
with a bachelor of science in applied economics. Huffman
is an active presenter at industry conferences, and co-authored
an article with Kristin Cobble "Learning From Everyday
Conflict", published in The Systems Thinker, Vol. 10,
No. 2 (March 1999), an organizational development journal.

Greg Maples |
| |
Greg Maples is responsible for the operation of the Linkify service.
He has over 23 years of experience in the fields of networking,
infrastructure design and deployment, and operations management.
Greg specializes in the management of online services.
His experience goes back to the early days of networking when he was a
systems programmer working on v7 Unix at the Pentagon in support of the
ARPANet, which later became MilNet and the Internet.
His wide diversity of experience includes network research at
MITRE, stints as lead developer and development management in
consulting, work at DuPont and start-ups as a network designer and
manager. He has been responsible for the design and deployment of a
news delivery infrastructure for the Internet's largest USENET provider,
the deployment and operation of a live gaming service for over 5M
registered users, and a live streaming video service capable of
supporting 50,000 simultaneous feeds. For the last several years,
Greg has focused on consulting with internet based start-ups,
supporting them in the design of their back-end operations, the
process of co-locating, costs of scaling, service delivery efficiency,
and quality of service.

Mike Wertheim |
| |
Mike Wertheim is Linkify's chief back-end engineer and data
model architect. Prior to joining Linkify, Mike gained expertise
in software development with relational database systems by
working for 9 years as an engineer at Sybase, Inc. From 2000
to 2001, Mike worked at a startup called Zhanra Infostructure,
where he developed a Java/SQL/XML-based back-end for an innovative,
high-performance content management and web publishing system.
Mike also contributed as a content reviewer on the book "Bitter
EJB," which was published by Manning Publications in 2003.
Mike holds a BS in Computer
Engineering from Carnegie Mellon.

Seamus Malone |
| |
Seamus Malone is Linkify's user interface architect.
Throughout his career he has worked in a range of environments,
business, academic, consumer and news environments. Prior to Linkify,
Seamus was User Interface Architect for CascadeWorks, a Services
Resource Management ASP now merged with ELance. Seamus holds an MFA
from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and was recognized
with an Independent Study Fellowship at the Whitney Museum of American
Art in 1995.
