David Coleman, Principal Consultant, Collaborative Strategies
Coleman has been involved with groupware and collaborative technologies since 1990 as an industry analyst, author of books and magazine articles on collaborative computing, conference chairman and consultant to vendor and user organizations.

As the principal consultant with Collaborative Strategies, Coleman works with clients to ensure the best outcome from groupware. His clients include: NEC, ICL/Fujitsu, Apple, The Forefront Group, and Hewlett Packard. Prior to establishing Collaborative Strategies, Coleman held positions of director of marketing (Natural Language) and product line marketing manager (UNIX Products Group, Oracle Corporation).

A frequent contributor to many trade and business publications such as Network World, DATAMATION, Fortune, Coleman also is a frequent speaker at conferences and tradeshows worldwide.

He is the author/editor of Groupware Technologies and Applications and Groupware: Collaborative Strategies for Corporate LANs and Intranets. He was the editor and publisher of Group Talk, the newsletter of workgroup computing. He is the founding editor of Virtual Workgroups, (now DVC magazine) and still contributes a monthly column.

   
Michael Morris, Professor of Organizational Behavior, Stanford GSB
  Professor Morris' research interests include the cognitive processes of diagnosing and learning from an outcome and the interpersonal process of conflict resolution, culture and the structure of interpersonal networks, the role of emotions in conflict resolution, employee perceptions of fairness and justice.

He has published on electronically mediated negotiations and organizational impacts of collaboration technology.

   
Kim Polese, Co-founder, Chairman, and Chief Strategy Officer of Marimba, Inc.
  Kim Polese, co-founder, chairman, and chief strategy officer of Marimba, focuses on the Company's new business initiatives, long-term strategic direction, mergers and acquisitions, and critical industry partnerships. Polese served as president and chief executive officer of Marimba until July 2000.

Prior to co-founding Marimba, Polese spent more than seven years at Sun Microsystems and was the original product manager for Java. During her tenure at Sun, she played a pivotal role in the strategic definition, direction and launch of Java. Prior to joining Sun, Polese worked for IntelliCorp Inc., consulting with companies in the development of expert system application frameworks.

Polese holds a bachelors of science degree in biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley and has studied computer science at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Scott Rafer provides Linkify with extensive strategic and operational experience.

Mr. Rafer is currently a partner of Cycle Partners, a consulting firm that helps technology companies address the challenges of the changing business environment.

Prior to Cycle Partners, he was the Founding CEO of Fresher Information Corporation, a venture-backed startup in the content analysis and syndication space. Before starting Fresher, he was President of FotoNation and was General Manager, Internet Products and Services for the Entertainment Imaging Division of Kodak. Previously, he was VP of Operations for Silicon Valley-based Torque Systems, a pre-press server company. Mr. Rafer started his career as an analyst at investment bank Needham & Company in New York.

He is a graduate of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, a double degree program jointly offered by the Wharton School of Business and the Moore School of Engineering.
