Fred Davis, Founder, President/CEO of Lumeria
Fred Davis has more than 30 years experience chronicling and commenting on the emerging role of computers and microcomputers on society. He was one of the founders of Ziff-Davis's computer publishing division, and later an original member of the CNET start-up team. Davis had a long career at Ziff-Davis where he served as editor of A+, MacUser, PC Magazine, and PC Week, and was a key player at Ziff-Davis's various product-testing labs, several of which he founded. After leaving Ziff-Davis, he went on to CMP Media and served as director of strategic development. He also was involved in the earliest startup phases of Wired, CNET, and Ask Jeeves. Davis has authored 13 computer books, including The Windows 95 Bible and The Windows 98 Bible. Davis writes for EYE-COM, one of Japan's leading computer magazines and is a technology commentator for National Public Radio.
   
Carl Bass, CEO of Buzzsaw.com
  Carl Bass is the chairman of the board, CEO, and president of Buzzsaw.com, an online collaboration application for the building industry. Bass manages the Company's strategic growth and daily operations. He also directs the Company's business initiatives. Prior to joining Buzzsaw.com, Bass was executive vice president of Autodesk Ventures and CTO at Autodesk, Inc. During his six years at Autodesk, Bass was vice president of the AECAD group responsible for the design and development of AutoCAD® and AEC products. Before joining Autodesk, Bass co-founded Ithaca Software, the developers of HOOPS®, which was acquired by Autodesk in 1994.

He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Cornell University.
